Chicken Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tsp Bayou City All Purpose Seasoning to taste
  • 2 tsp Bayou City Garlic Pepper Seasoning to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves-minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup white wine
  • 2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz fettuccini or your favorite pasta
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan
  • freshly chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Bring some water to a boil for pasta and add salt
  2. Add chicken to a bowl or shallow dish and season with Bayou City Seasonings to taste
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil
  4. Add seasoned chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 8 minutes per side
  5. Let rest for 10 minutes, then slice
  6. Add butter and minced garlic to skillet and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Deglaze with white wine and reduced for about 2 minutes
  7. Pour in heavy cream. Season again and bring to a simmer
  8. Add in freshly grated parmesan and mix until combined. Simmer until sauce thickens
  9. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Make sure to reserve some pasta water.
  10. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat pasta evenly. Add a couple splashes of pasta water
  11. Remove from heat and stir in sliced chicken. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy

Notes

Tips:
-Add more cream for a thinner sauce and more parmesan for a thicker sauce. 
-Add pasta water to your sauce to help the sauce bind to the pasta.
