Prep
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients
- In a large bowl, combine Mashed bananas, sugars (brown and white), Vegetable oil, Brown butter, Eggs, Eggs, Vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and fully combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, whisk together Flour, Baking soda, Salt, Cinnamon
Bring It Together
- Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and gently mix until just combined.
- Fold in Chopped walnuts and Sour cream (if using)
Do not overmix—this keeps your banana bread soft and tender.
Bake
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Top with extra walnuts if desired.
- Bake at 325°F for 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool
- Let cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
