Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup white sugar 100g
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 90g
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour 180g
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped, plus more for topping
  • 1/4 cup sour cream optional, for extra moisture

Method
 

Prep
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients
  1. In a large bowl, combine Mashed bananas, sugars (brown and white), Vegetable oil, Brown butter, Eggs, Eggs, Vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and fully combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together Flour, Baking soda, Salt, Cinnamon
Bring It Together
  1. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and gently mix until just combined.
  2. Fold in Chopped walnuts and Sour cream (if using)
  3. Do not overmix—this keeps your banana bread soft and tender.
Bake
  1. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Top with extra walnuts if desired.
